They’re back! Charity Snacks for the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association
The Café de la Paix will be spreading holiday cheer with its traditional Charity Snacks from December 7 to 16! All proceeds go to the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association.
For the sixth consecutive year, Ines de La Fressange will be the event’s sponsor along with Zoé Felix. Professor Francine Leca and Patrice Roynette, association cofounders, and Christophe Laure, Area General Manager Paris and General Manager of the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, join forces to make this event a success.
Every day from December 7th to 16th between 4 pm and 6 pm, the Café de la Paix will be selling a take-away snack including a hot drink and a pastry priced at 5 euros. All proceeds go to the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association.
Something new in 2016: get your snack delivered (a pastry and a smoothie) by Deliveroo*, restaurant delivery service, (www.deliveroo.fr). * Complimentary delivery is offered by this partner.
New formula: donations can also be made in urns placed at the hotel reception, or online at www.mecenat-cardiaque.org
This charity event raises money to help children with heart malformations living in less developed countries, to be operated on in France when it is impossible to do so in their home country due to lack of technical or financial means.
Please note: the Café de la Paix will once again participate in the association’s annual Christmas Fair at the Paris Palais des Congrès on Sunday, December 11th. During this festive event, hotel volunteers will be manning a stand, a veritable miniature replica of the Café de la Paix.
