Charity Breakfasts are back!
From June 6 to June 16, the Café de la Paix will once more be hosting its “charity breakfasts”, to support the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association. For the seventh consecutive year, Ines de La Fressange, the event’s sponsor, Professor Francine Leca, co-founder of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, as well as Christophe Laure, Regional Director Paris and General Manager of InterContinental Paris Le Grand, are all mobilized for this initiative.
Every morning for ten days, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Café de la Paix will serve a special breakfast (a hot drink, orange juice and a pastry) priced at 5 euros, available to eat at the restaurant’s outdoor café or take away. All proceeds go to the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association.
The kick-off for this fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, June 6th, attended by all those involved in the initiative including Ines de la Fressange.
This charity event raises money to help children with heart malformations and living in less developed countries to be operated in France when it is impossible to do so in their home country due to lack of technical or financial means. Every year, the Café de la Paix raises enough money to save one or two children.
